I don't think her tempo should be a point to blame in this performance. But, again, she needs to make sense of her interpretation. Wilhelm Kempff and Dinu Lipatti chose a similar tempo as Martha did, and they successfully expressed the sense of grief and hope (in despair). Martha seems like being confined by the Mozartian dogma of "flow like oil". Yes, the melody flowed pretty well in Martha's playing, but that didn't necessarily help her stand out on the market of Mozart rendition. Uchida, Barenboim and even Daniil Trifonov are still there.

jfc she's good on the #15...wow. hard to listen to anyone else's rendition. in many places, too rapid, but for the slower preludes, she's got a delicateness about her playing that is astonishing. her strike is so distinctive and her deliberate keyboard sustain makes her just brilliant in so many places where lesser pianists are on the pedal

So, actually, Martha has a very small repertoire and doesn't play very many pieces up to any standard worth mentioning, and why bother ... and so forth.
